Exclamation Just Got Home From 1st Dyno !!!

I just got back from the DynoJet in huntsville with a tune by scott (gomer) I have the mods in my sig (stock tb,no free mods) what do you think of the numbers? I thought they were low and the torque to :-( ...DO they look normal for a 100k , 3400 stall car, stock suspension?

I was looking (real world numbers) when I took it for maybe 370rwhp and maybe 330 tq...I was VERY disappointed when I saw the graph...I mean close to $2000 worth of parts and barely more TQ than stock?

That 3400 stall torque converter may be eating up some of it. Was it locked during the dyno pull?

How does it drive though?

I mean I know the numbers are low, but does it feel any better? Is it more exciting to drive?

man i honestly think its kinda hard to get a good read on A4s sometimes and its all in how different people dyno them. For example, after my cam install and ls6 intake and tb my car put down 373/367 unlocked through 3.42s at RPM, then i took it to TSP and it tuned out to 373/337 through 3.90s. Where did 30ft lbs of torque go????

It drives great and it sound like a bat out of when its at WOT . I was on my way home and passed a guy in a pick up truck and he swerved to the side of the road when I passed him he was white as a ghost...maybe I can get a few more HP with a p/p TB and some more TQ with some suspension mods? I just want to take it to the track and see if I can hit that 11.9 (not lookin to good right now though)

Yeh, I ported my TB and I couldn't really tell a difference, but it does seem to sound different, as weird as that sounds..

Dyno numbers are not, IMO the thing to go by, take it to the track and see what she'll do

Dyno numbers and Automatic cars go together like turds and hotdog buns.

Those pulls were made with the converter locked. The torque was lower than what I was expecting, but I learned a long time ago not to predict dyno numbers when you mess with A4 cars.

I drove the car around while doing the tune on it and it pulls very good, I think the low numbers are a combination of the stall (even though I locked it, it still seemed "funny"), the lack of a ported TB, and lack of UD pulley.

Btw, suspension will have no effect on your torque/hp readings.

Converter was locked and I'm pretty sure the tune is about as good as it can get.
