P.S. I'm just playing the devil's advocate here. But I still think you are only going to gain 2 or 3 mph at the drag strip.
Believe me I am not to happy about the numbers either. I ran 7.26 with 388RWHP. Of course that dyno number where prior to my EWP & ASP Pully & after those two mods is when I ran 7.26 @ 94 mph.

I ran 7.48 @ 91 with 388 RWHP & no EWP & Pully. I assume I gained close to 12 RWHP with those two mods. So to be fair to myself. I believe I only really gained 14 RWHP & 11 RWTQ from my old setup.

The car does feel alot faster though, I had a PT4400 & I stepped down to a PT4000 so I could spray a 150 shot. But it does feel alot faster even on the smaller converter.

The only problem I can tell is from a 65 punch the converter will not lock up & also from lower speeds! My old PT4400 would always lock up from any speed. Just some speeds it would lock alot harder then other speeds... But when the converter does lock up. The car pulls really hard. It feels like it will do some 7.0s on motor. But then again I haven't ridden in a fast car for almost a year now.

Trying to see if I can get the tuner to meet me at the track & get the shift points set up better so the converter will lock up right. I will have times Monday guys

408 I could only wish. I was gonna try & put one in. But Daniel said my 348 was ready & we couldn't sell it. So we just went with the 348

Sorry about #'s. My car is not a dyno queen but it does wonders at the track. Anyways, I ended up going back to a Vindicator and also went with TFS heads milled .018, and ported FAST. Now after looking at this thread now I'm worried. But please post up some times soon. I think it's going to be worse for me since I have 9in w/ 3.90s. Gool Luck

Thanks bro. Your cam sounds NASTY in my car. Did you get the 112 Lope Sep. Believe me the car feels alot faster then it did. I think my car just sucks on the Dyno.

Hope this junk puts down some decent times at the track.

112. My car sucks also on the dyno. It doesn't want to lock up. Are your heads out of the box or did you do anything to them? I'm almost done with mine. But I keep running into small things that hold me up. Get some sound clips also.

Excessive you'll see this type of setup near you soon

Like Ron @ Vengeance mentioned, get the FAST 90 to him and let him fully port it for you. They do great work. Your car should put down numbers similar to what mine did as I didn't have the top of the line TFS heads, EWP or stock rear helping my dyno numbers. My 12 bolt sure was nice at the track though. I put down 459 unlocked(483 locked) and the 6.81 it ran was w/o the benefit of locking the converter. Raceweight then was 3400 pounds for comparison. Good luck at the track. Ron can probably post a dyno graph from my pull if you'd like to see it.

What wheel and tire setup did you got with to get the 6.81?

Stock 16" salad shooters up front with 225/50-16 radials, Bogarts in the back with 26 x 10 x 15 slicks. Switched to 16" salad shooters in the back with 26 x 9.5 QTP's and later to 28 x 10 x 16 Hoosier slicks. Car ran 6.82-6.85 @ 99.9-100.5 all Summer long like that. Not bad for heavy stock rims I thought. Switched to 4.56 gears recently and had problems.

Well I am pretty happy considering it was the first night out. The car has 6.80 all day on motor & probably more with K-Member & A-Arms & moving the battery out back with Skinnys up front. I believe I can get the car down to 6.60s on motor & 6.80s on 17s all the way around.

My results & I have 2 vids also I will post once my wife gets to work.

1st pass
7.158 @ 96.00 w 1.56 60ft
2nd pass
7.352 @ 95.62 w 1.70 60ft
3rd pass
7.171 @ 95.76 w 1.57 60ft
4th pass
7.086 @ 96.32 w 1.54 60ft My New Corbeau CR1 Seat Broke & through me all the way in the back seat almost & that ended my night.

All pass where made FULL WEIGHT with 17s all around.

I had a blast!

Looks like with some Big & Littles & 4.10s I should be able to hit some 6s. But I ran in the trim on Mickey Thompson 315/17/35 Drag Radials

That looks to be a low low 11 to high 10 second pass. Not too shabby if you ask me. Tweak the setup with suspension, tires, and weight like you mentioned and that's easy 10s all day. Screw the dyno numbers.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know what that 96mph 1/8 mile would ROUGHLY come out to 1/4 mile? 120ish, maybe a little more???
