Default opinions on my first dyno today!

So I finally went to the dyno today and made 2 pulls on it. First time pulled 295/302 with air fuel ratio sensor. Second time pulled 302.5 at the motor and 316 at the wheels with the cutout open. It made quite a difference just by opening the cutout. Bad thing was that I had the rev limiter set at 5900rpms and the guy said that my car should have put down more horsepower. Do you guys think if I had the rev limiter set to around 6100-6200rpms would have helped me?

My mods are Pacesetter LTs, LS6 intake, MTI clear lid/K&N, ported TB, Hypertech prog., 3:73 gears, ORY, cutout, dynomax bullit, Transgo shift kit.

Opinions please! oh and this was on a mustang dyno which is a bit off!

Yeah that sucked! I also ran it on heavy 18/19 staggered wheels which some say also affected the results(instead of the light track wheels I use).

I'm not sure at what rpms peak power was but 2nd pull went up to 5800 rpms only since they didn't want it to hit the revlimiter set at 5900rpms. First time at the dyno but once the cam and stall are in I'll make sure I get it right at the dyno.

Thanks. I was just trying to get an idea if there was more power in it higher up in the rpm range.

no, you wouldnt get any more power by raising the rev limiter, the cam peaks out by 5800. those numbers are low though even for a mustang dyno, i dyno'd 328/338 without the ls6 intake and with a corsa exhaust on a mustang dyno

my car just came off the dyno yesterday (mods in sig) car made 357rwhp and 372rwtq on a dynojet. peak power was make right @5,000rpm and by 5600 started to drop off, and by 6k i was right at 330-340. my tuner told me theres really no reason to take it past 5600 since the stock ls1 cam cant make power past that point and torque is also on the decline. So i dont think you would have seen anymore power
