Default ASA cam #'s (updated)

Just wanted to post the most recent dyno graph of my cam only car with the ASA cam.
The reason I'm posting this is because I just installed a set of Edelbrock stepped headers in place of my Jet-Hot headers, and want to do back-to-back testing on the same dyno for an accurate comparison when I re-dyno. Also, because my clutch started slipping a little while after the 1st dyno and has been replaced with a LS7 clutch. There was only a 1rwhp & 6rwtq difference though, so no big deal. 1st dyno -->https://ls1tech.com/forums/dynamometer-results-comparisons/608044-asa-cam-226-236-525-110-lsa-dyno-s.html
I'm not expecting much change between the 2 headers, but mainly made the swap because (hopefully this spring) I will be getting GMPP LS6 heads and 90mm intake, & I figured the stepped headers would benefit my combination. I will post up the results of the header swap in another thread.

You may have actually gained more than that saying that the ls7 clutch is pretty heavy compared to others. BTW nice numbers.

You probably actually lost ~10rwhp since the new #'s are STD and the old ones are SAE FWIW.

Well, I dont know if it did or not. It was 2 different dynos in 2 different parts of the state, so I'm sure theres a discrepancy between the 2. Thats exactly why I wanted to post this up, cause I want to get an accurate comparison between the 2 headers when I re-dyno.

I'm starting to think it doesn't matter what size cam goes in, they all make about the same frickin numbers. Yours couldn't be much more of a "baby" cam and makes fantastic numbers!

Thanks! yeah, there are always some exceptions, but I think it mainly depends on where you want your power band as to what cam you choose. I mean look @ some of Patrick G's cams. Talk about being able to manipulate a cam for a certain power curve! But yeah, for the most part 380's-390's is about the norm.
I'm hoping the new headers and some more fine tuning will put me @ 400. If not, oh well.

Oh I know what you mean, I don't want to risk breaking anything lol. But I have and will practice launching the car so more before we go to the track. If you want to ride out with us we can meet somewhere on the way. We are thinking about leaving around 7:45 Am
