well i have an a4 with the jet hot lt's and im making 317hp & 330tq but for some reason its pulling 4 degrees timing at 4500 not sure why

what else is done to the car, do you have the stock cat back? lid? 317 sounds about right and yes you would pick up a little more power with additional timing. your knock sensors must be pulling some timing out. who dynoed it?

That just illustrates how well 01-02 cars respond due to LS6 stuff. You'll make over 400 rwhp with a mild cam with ease, not to mention great torque numbers.

I was very impressed with the torque numbers. We have a couple decent cams to play with, ide say a bit more then mild but not extremely agressive either. I'm personally a big street/strip guy.

i have 3in td's with an xpipe dumped through 40 series flowmasters,slp lid,ported mass air and throttle body, and predator prog. the car was dyno'd by jason at lsx tuning in greencove. he mentioned that locking the converter would help but he didnt recomend it and also said it was lean like around 14.4
