Default 01 Bone Stock Ws6

I just had my 27000 mile bone stock WS6 Dyno tuned. Stock 261.3hp @ 4950 and 300.0ftlb @ 3950. After Carolina Speed Shop(CSS) tuned it I now have 326.6hp @ 5000 and 379.4ftlb torque @ 3950 of. With the dyno sheet to prove it. Does anyone know the record for highest HP and Torque on a stock LS1? My average hp @ stock was 213.3 and torque was 263.3. After tune was 263.8 and 333.5. I am so happy to bad its raining here in Conway

so your saying with a bone stock ws6 and just a tune your making 380 ft lbs of tq?

That definately has to be some type of record if its legitamate... I know some heads/cam people with a mild setup making that tq... although I dont know why you'd have 50 more tq then hp...

If that's true, that's one badass factory freak you have there. The strange thing is why was it making such terrible power straight out of the factory? Are you the first owner of this car? If not, I tend to think a previous owner toyed with it. Maybe they even tried to put it back to stock before you bought it so they could sell it for more, and for this reason it wasn't tuned correctly for a stock setup.

If not, that is one strange car you have. Get it to the track!

I've heard of stock 01's-02's making that kind of hp, but not tq. Take it to the track and see what she does...

Not a dynojet so numbers are pretty much worthless. Put it on a dyno jet like everyone else does.

Was it tuned by the same people that own the dyno because I'm thinking there's a big incentive to have a local stating he got 65hp from one of their tunes. Your car should have put down about 310-320rwhp stock.

An Auto could have a torque converter flare that would cause a high spike on the initial hit at WOT. It's rare but not uncommon.

BS.... not happening.....if your car dynoed 260 stock....theres something wrong. and to hit 379tq after tune is complete bs.

so your ssaying before and after w/ just a tune you gained 65.2rwhp and 79.4rwtq???? thats just obsered an not accurate

i bet the first pull had a correction fator of .80 and the "after tune" correction was 1.10

take it to he track run your possibly high 12 low 13 and we'll know its stock w/ about 310rwhp

Yeah, if those numbers are "correct" then that thing better put up some HUGE numbers at the track. Then put the tune back to stock and make some mustang GTish runs.
