Yah I wouldnt think its that accurate just from what I've seen some dyno's do. My buddys SS was on a dyno with a lid and catback and the dyno said 345 HP and 370 ft/lbs. We took it too the track and it went 13.9 at 100-101 mph and it was a M6. Now its a full bolt on car and Tuned at Speed Inc. and it made 347 hp and 368 ft/lbs. Speed Inc. uses a Dyno Jet and the other shop used some crappy dyno that they kept adding resistance too. I'd take it to the track and see what it "traps" because that will tell you the true Hp. Good luck!

I'm going to start a thread in the dyno forum, and just for the fun of it, I'm going to have none of the number make any sense. Ha! Stupid ******* LS1Techers.

I'll make my stock rwhp number like... 261. And, I'll make my rwt like... 300.

Then, I'll say I got a tune and made 326 and 379 to the wheels. Ha! That'll be be good for a few pages of bull **** calling, flaming, ranting, speculation and all sorts of worthless crap.

I can see it now. What a bunch of 'tards.

I dont think he's making it up but I do think in this case the dyno did lie. Ive seen it done a bunch of times thats why I only like my car on a reputable dyno.

Sounds like someone doesn't know how to operate a dyno or they were ******* with you to make their shop look better. I've had the kid @ VRD mess with my bone stock 98 WS6 and the first run it put down 250ish and I instantly knew what he was doing. After I told him that I'd beat his as* if he didn't do it right it put down 320 and 336 respectively. Like everyone says take it to the track and it might run a 13.20-13.6.
