Like on my local forum, I'm calling complete bullshit on this graph. Looks like somebody took factory rated numbers and plotted them on a graph and stuck a GM emblem on the bottom and typed some **** at the top.

IMO, either way, if gm follows suit these flywheel numbers are bogus and the Zr1 will have more fwhp than advertised, I am speculating a factory 580-600 rwhp car, which is probably a 700-750 fwhp car.

"Confidential" Yeah, right; GM would just hate for people to see this graph.

Awesome news. I'll take mine in black with red leather.

How easy is it to steal a car then leave the country (to Mexico/Canada) and get it re-titled there? You know, so it's like, no longer legaly stolen.

Im thinking about giving up my job, family, home -- all that unimportant BS -- to have one of these. Just considering my options.

The LS3 graph is bogus. Horsepower is a mathematical derivation from torque, and vice versa. If the horsepower and torque curve scales are set such that every other power curve crosses at 5252, the LS3 curve must as well. IF you look at the numbers quoted of 436 and 424 and see that the power peak occurs just after 5300 rpm or so it's not hard to believe the numbers, but the curves are plotted incorrectly.

there, graph fixed. the other 3 graphs are fine, for some reason the LS3 was aligned wrong.

This looks like something I would do on a local board to start drama..

Im saying it is fake since it looks a lot like the Excel spreadsheet graphs that I would make in physics class

The data points are real erratic too. I'm sure that a dyno samples more than 18 times in a pull. Someone is just trying to start drama wherever this graph originated.

My money is on the LS9 anyway.

TQ x RPM / 5250 = HP.

If the graphs do not cross at 5250 then they are not real SAE standard measurements.

It's the great GM propaganda machine hard at work.

Just wait till the Dodge propaganda comes firing back with N/A vrs SC and how it made 3 mph over the z06 at the least.. or how the SC isn't really stock. LOL.

Say you were the GM engineer building the ls7 and rated it at 505hp instead of the 530 horsepower it actualy makes, would you be happy with a measley 90 horsepower gain from a supercharger? Or would swap pulley's until you had 700 (so you could sleep at night) and chuckle to yourself at a advertised rating of 620. If you take that 620whp and add in the 12% crank/whp differential often scene on a dynojet...that puts you at 694hp? coincidence?...I think not.

It is a 115hp gain from a .8l drop in displacement and the addition of a supercharger. The last time I looked the GM web site said over 600hp, but 620 has been thrown out there a few times.
