Default What should this combo on my Z06 put down?

01 Z06, TPiS 1 3/4" longtubes, 2.5" offroad H-pipe, Corsa Catback, flip-tie intake mod(similar to Callaway Honker), MTI X1 cam kit, stock LS6 heads, stock LS6 intake, stock throttle body, stock pulley, stock 3.42 gear and will be tuned by Vengeance.

Is that combo capable of 420rwhp? Regardless I'd think it should have a nice torque curve with the X1's reverse split, right?

thanks

Mark

I would be quite shocked if you see in the 420 range with only partial bolt-ons and that cam, but good luck and post up a graph when you get it tuned.

You should be close.... Most 01s Ive seen with just intake and longtubes put down 37xrwhp, so I dont see why you couldnt get close to another 40-50rwhp with the cam and a tune. Good luck.

Why 2.5 H-pipe?? I thought reverse split cams needed a great flowing Exhaust
with your Boltons I'm thinking 410-415rwhp but after pulley, TB and better 3inch X-pipe
I think 430rwhp is possible.

2.5" dual exhaust should be good till at least 550hp without being a restriction.

420-430 rwhp is very realistic. Z06s always net about 10-20 rwhp more than the F-Bodys with similar mods.

LOL well I was way too optimistic, it made 387/378. https://ls1tech.com/forums/dynamometer-results-comparisons/867055-01-z06-cam-only-dyno-results.html

Ron tuned it too? Something doesn't sound right. I'm making the same power as you with my 03Z with only longtubes, air filter, and tune. There are even a few who have reached 400rwhp with just bolt-ons.

Mike tuned it, he's the owner and does all the tuning as far as I know.
