Default Stock 2002 SS

Went to revline today and dynoed the SS, 100% stock and this is what it did:



He said it was the highest HP Stock(+K&N intake Kit) LS1 he's ever seen

Wow that really is high for being bone stock. I had a '98 T/A M6 with borla catback and mine only pulled 311/327. Of course that's on an LS1 intake but it wouldn't make that much difference. Congrats.

damn that rediculous! if you put 341 ft/lbs down on stock motor, it makes you wonder how underrated the LS1 was from the factory!

Wow, you're a lucky bastard. If it responds to mods in a similar manner, that's gonna be one badass ride. Let us know when you get to the track in the spring.

Congrats!

Mine had some very similar numbers...with an SLP lid and TSP cat-back it put down 331/348.

My 02 Stock + SLP lid did ....

324 RWHP @ 5,300 rpms

346.7 RWTQ @ 4,450 rpms

M6 w/ 30k on the clock, non ram air.

It does happen, the car depending on air quality and race weight can hit a decent MPH

great numbers though. didn't some 02 cars come with an LS6 block would that make that kind of difference?

'01-'02 came with the LS6 intake and maybe some of the '00's if I remember correctly. That would make a small difference like 5-10RWHP.
