Yeh, I gained almost 100rwhp with this setup from the base run..
I setup the cam "dot to dot."

I will look into a larger MAF and a tune..

I am running 42lb injectors and Scott said my duty cycle was no more than 52% I believe.. Stock Pump.. Stock Harness..

If so then your base was around 281 which indicates this dyno to be stingy, perhaps you are allready over 400 rwhp, more like ~410 +/-

Try to dyno on a dynojet see what you put out.

^ Agreed. I was going to say that my old 98 with the exact same cam (mine was a .563 lift) and stage II 241 heads did 400/380 through a stalled auto, but the base line was like 310.

a stalled a4 isn't a dyno queen, your probably losing 15% of your power. sounds good. prob. a high 11 car if you were to 1320 it.I ran 11.92 w/ cam only (no heads) w/3500 stall, my dyno graph only showed 355hp/339tq

Yeah but not by much. I've sent quite a few A4 stalled + bolt ons ove 400rwhp, cam only and not really big cams at that.
Latest was 422rwhp/398rwtq with a 230/230 111+2 LSA cam
Before that, 403rwhp/385rwtq with a 227/230 112+4 lsa,
So the right cam can make a difference

Not trying to jack your thread, but Tram, do you have a number for Gomer? I'm putting some LS6 heads, TR224 cam, and a 125 shot on my GTO and will need a tune. The guys at Trackmasters up here in Huntsville haven't been able to get in touch with him.

OK guys, forgive me for bumping an old thread, but it's mine so I thought I'd give it a shot..

I've had this combo, unchanged since this thread.. I've bounced back and forth with a FAST 90..

Well, I'd like to find some of the hidden power Predator was talking about..

First things first, I'm going to putting a new converter in it.. Something like a PTC 3800.. After that.. I'm lost..

I'd love to turbo it, but I'm building up a '74 Bronco and trying to build a new house.. $5,000 just isn't there currently for the turbo..

Suggestions?

Thats strange. My 6 speed car with a 228 cam made peak power at 6200. 423rwhp / 386rwtq.

Do you have any 1/4 mile times with this combination? 60' times?
