Hey Tom! Its crazy that Mikey was just telling me about your set up while he was over. Those are some pretty rowdy numbers. Get some vids of that bad bitch up!

Yes, the are the Ford SVO green tops (42#). He has his fuel pressure at 62psi, so these are 51# on that pressure ... no wonder they were at 95% duty cycle while running 11.7 AFR
I think it may be flywheel hp as well. I had Mototron 60lbs in my old setup, base fuel pressure of around 72psi, and they were at 100% duty cycle, and the car put down around 594rwhp. Yes it was through a TH400 and loose stall, so I am sure that lowered the rwhp a bit. But I dont know if the green tops can support almost 700rwhp, even with a base fuel pressure of 62psi.

Congrats! What dyno is that just curious. On another note you have to subtract the boost from the base FP if it isn't boost referenced IE: 62lbs -12.5= 59.5 for the injector flow rates to be pretty accurate etc...
thanks man i would like to see both of your cars they look sick

i believe it could be rwhp..one of my friends has the aps tt kit with a small cam and ported heads and on 7psi he made close to 550rwhp on a mustang dyno. It is definately a nice kit

The numbers are comparable to a Dynojet dynos RWHP numbers, to within +/-10rwhp. Dynapack list it as flywheel power because it actually reads the true torque at the axle. Since most dyno display their figures pre-differential, they really are not true wheel numbers. They are actually driveshaft numbers, hence why I posted these typical dyno sheets for comparison. If you do a search for Dynapack, you will find all my (and other notable shops) post constantly explaining this to newbies about Dynapacks.

That's an awful lot of power to the tires for ford 42 lb injectors. Pretty much every turbo ls1 I have ever seen with the ford green tops is just about maxing them out at ~550 rwhp on a dynojet.

NicD and JimmyP,

I was expecting only around 550rwhp, so you can understand my confusion when I kept seeing the IDC at 95% while being at 11.7 AFR. Clearly (especially after seeing the power) the setup requires 60# injectors.

This the same local dyno where people dyno 370RWHP and 385RWTQ with ONLY headers and a lid yet only trap 13.2@108MPH...

Haddads dynapack #'s are inflated compared to every other dyno in the area... But a dyno is for tuning not for trying to compare #'s with others across the country using various different dynamometers

With only the 42lb SVO's, there is no way they will be able to support that power. With my setup and 58psi rail pressure, 500 rwhp N/A on a mustang dyno netted me 80% IDC.
