2000 Z28 + APS = 700rwhp !!!

So a friend (Tomz28) of mine that I had previously tuned, decided to install an APS kit. We tuned it on the street to get the fuel right, since he had installed green tops. On the street it felt ferrousious! He took it home and told me stories of whipping cars left and right. Well today we had a chance to put it on the dyno and see where the power is and possibly extract some good numbers from his stock bottem end. I was figuring close to 600rwhp. First and only pass churned out 694rwhp and 617rwtq!!! So I check why it is soo high, the boost hit 12.46psi! Yeah, I decided not to continue until he either controls the boost or gets a forged low compression short block. It wanted to go higher, and if built we may see high 700s. Here are the numbers from the APS standard kit, as well as the boost we logged through the dyno.

Great results. The APS kit sure does what it promises.

i dont wanna sound like a jealous person or what not, but I do believe that this is fly wheel hp and not rear wheel power. rwhp would be 569 with a 18 percent drivetrain loss and i believe that is more realistic on that car with 12.5 psi
edit: on a side note that is good numbers even if its 570 whp @ 12.5 psi

I made 569rwhp 6spd 3:73's 10bolt on 9psi with my Vortech S/C setup when I went to my first dyno day at MTI, so I am tossed up on his power although it does seem a little high, but those Zo6 cams do work well on turbo setups. Congrats! What dyno is that just curious. On another note you have to subtract the boost from the base FP if it isn't boost referenced IE: 62lbs -12.5= 59.5 for the injector flow rates to be pretty accurate etc...
