Default Got Torque? Rapid H/C package results...

Just finished up a 98 Camaro. TFS 215 heads, new first time tried cam lobe profile (230/234/114), ARH headers with CATS, Magnaflow CB, Rapid ported FAST 90, Rapid tuned. Torque is amazing...

It's a pleasure to drive too. Idle is 915 rpms. It is not a super snappy cam but when you get on it, you feel it put you back in the seat. I've never had a cam this small put down that much torque on a pump gas stock bottom end. I think I just found the cam to go into my Vette

I think you're probably giving too much credit to the cam and not enough to the heads. Those TFS heads make really nice power. Combine them with proper valve events (like you've done), a ported FAST, and top drawer tuning skills, and you've got a great combo.

Wow... For about $2500 for heads, $650 for cam, ls6 pump, chain, and another $1200 with a 90/90 i can get those numbers. My buddies LS2 402 makes 487whp. I'd love to have that on my '98 LS1! Thats over $4000 though... I'd like to see some track times too.

That's sweet Mikey! Good to see your still kicking A** and taking names!

My car was done on the same dyno. Goes to show how better heads, Ported 90 and a tad bigger cam can make the power.

What was the SCR of the car?

I would think the smaller cam would help make more tq than a cam with big duration. nice numbers though!
