Keep in mind too that the majority of people that post dyno numbers here have high numbers...which make alot of people not post their lower numbers, so here you'll see a very skewed view of dyno results.

You sure the mustang dyno wasnt reading high??? Guy around here had a 99 Formula with the 224 cam with true duals and only put down 370rwhp... On a dynojet. Just something to think about.

I know how you feel. With everything I put into my 408 I was hoping for around 550rwhp. I put alot of money into my heads and exhaust with a BIG CAM. You can see what I did in my sig. Now this is with a A4, 12-bolt and 3.73 gears with a nitrous tune and stall. My catr seems to run its *** off. I will know more tonight how it rolls, lol! Going to have some fun, lol!! But don`t get upset. Your making good power! don`t sell it!!

Put it in the respect of fundamentals.

Do the heads flow?

Does the motor have cranking compression and can it pass a leakdown?

is the cam sized correctly?

Does the exhaust fit the bill for the HP you're trying to make?

Sometimes if the dyno numbers are too low, check the duty cycle of the injectors and the RWHP numbers compared to another car similar to yours that made more HP and see if they're using any more fuel. I've had plenty of cars on the dyno that wouldn't show the HP the trap MPH was reporting.
