The LS2s came in the C6 vettes, not the C5s.

C5 = LS1
C5 Z06 = LS6
C6 = LS2/LS3
C6 Z06 = LS7

On topic - that is an impressive gain! Makes me wish I had the loot for a 92/92 setup. Good work by the guys at Vengence!

I agree with Jan,the LS6 head combined with the 02+ LS6 cam might be reason behind this gain but unless we further test it on other cars we wont really know if its realistic..

Dont get me wrong I am not saying this didnt happen,I would just like to see it done again on say a 01 F-Car with boltons....
Who ever said my heads are ported? I sure didn't cause my heads are stock.

Yeah I have a cam. On a bolt on car I know it wouldn't get as much as I gained but it would be a nice gain

Certainly believable. Here's my graph, going from a ported stock LS2 intake on my C6 to a stock FAST. I gained a best of 1.4 mph in the 1/8th as well.

it looks like a set of ported/milled heads and a stockish ls6 cam with mad lift would make for a GREAT sleeper in an f car with that ported 92mm intake.

stock idle and 400+ whp and 0 driveability lost. we'll see i guess haha.

Great numbers. Were there any drastic changes in the tune? Ignition curve, etc?
