sounds like the tuner missed something.

and ur after numbers are F-ed up. YOu added a cam and gained 25hp and 10trq with a 7.0 liter? That doest sound right either.

Your bolt on numbers are right in line with what I've been seeing, but your cammed numbers are definitely soft. That cam is huge for an LS7 and most likely not matched for the runner length and cross section area of the EFI intake manifold and LS7 heads.

Those are some weak cammed Z06 numbers. Let us know when you get the tune issue sorted out and post up again! Good luck!

that cam is just plain wrong for the LS7. the P0106 code thresholds can be tweak in the diagnostics menu its common for cams with lots of overlap.

Thats what I told the owner and the tuner cam is too big
Patrick I will be talking to you very soon if the owner thought about changing
the cam.

i would look at the qm600 if your not gonna get a custom grind. i was gonna say that i havent seen anyone recomending a cam with those kind of specs for a ls7. my roomate made just under 600 rw with same mods, cleaned up heads and tune.

the cam isnt much bigger than hpe's cam stage 3-- (248-252)-- with bolt ons & tuned it made 540-550 rwhp... I can't see the cam only making that much power in only being a little bit larger than ours.. I think it's in the tune...

For infos sake the QM600 is not bigger than the stage 3 its acually smaller and it outperforms dam near every cam on the market I have a custom designed one by Patrick G and it made a bit more with some sacrifice to low end and drivability but Patrick said it would. I may go back to the QM600 just to see if i like its drivability better cause the custom cam is pretty aggressive.
