Talking Who's got the weakest H/C LS1 out there?

With all the "BEST" and "HIGHEST" threads out there for the various setups, I thought it would be funny to start this one (plus it's a category I can actually compete in ). And I'm not looking for cars that have something wrong with them and are running like crap, just setups that aren't quite stacking up to the competition on the dyno. I'll start it off since I'm probably near the top of the list. Don't be afraid to post up even if you're not the "winning" car, haha. It might actually give us an idea of what's actually common versus what we just see posted on the internet.

List car and full mods, plus type of dyno and correction factor used.

2002 Z28 M6
- Patriot LS6 Heads (243's)- milled to 62cc
- Comp 224/228 581/588 113 LSA
- SLP Lid, CAI, and Smooth Bellow
- Bo White Ported TB (stock LS6 intake)
- Pacesetter LTs and ORY
- Magnaflow Catback (no cutout)
- 3.5" Aluminum Driveshaft
- Moser 12-bolt with 4.10s (Eaton Posi)
- Dynoed with stock T56 and Spec Stage 2 (now have MN12 tranny and Tex OZ700 Z-grip)
- Also some suspension mods
- Tuned to perfection by Eastside Performance (literally, the cars runs perfectly and has had a TON of dyno tuning time for power and streetability). These are great guys and have tuned many friends' and family member's cars to VERY impressive results. Mine just didn't cut it.

FINAL DYNOJET SAE NUMBERS: 400/367

Trapped a 116 at the end of last year at Englishtown, but had no traction through the 1/8 (MTs will be on the way shortly for this year). Only trapped 86 in the 1/8 if that's any indication of my traction issues. I think a 118-119 is possible on a great day if I can hook up.

My old 98 made 400/380 H/C w/ a TR224, JRP Stage II LS1 heads, and bolt-ons with an auto, kinda funny compared to what my white TA made.

i think a friend of mine had the slowest h/c car ever..he had some ported ls6 heads and a baby cam and was running 13.0's @ 109..lol. The sad thing is im in a bolton heavy *** vert that weighs almost 3900lbs with me in it and my best is almost the same. I think his problem is that he tuned it himself

Haha, that sounds like tuner/driver erorr to me. That's basic bolt-on times.

Very comparable to mine. Your auto vs my heavy-duty drivetrain probably just about evens out.

lol yeah i know..it is an auto so it really cant be driver error but like i said he tried to tune it himself so i guess that is where the problem was. However he doesn't have to worry about it anymore sense he put an aps twin kit on his car and now it is making about 600 hp.

Ain't that the truth. I just thought it would be a funny thread.

11.3 @ 118 is sick at 385, though. But he doesn't list the dyno type, though. A "typical" mustang dyno reading makes sense, actually, for an automatic car.

Haha, I hope he improved his tuning skills since the previously mentioned project or his motor may be in trouble.

Dynojet SAE corrected
And of course it was a A4

The car was legit thought
3450lbs/DA -1000 FT
11.38/1.49/118

This was using the trusty ole PT4200/4.10 gear combo
I was using shitty macs w/fm merge,no cats,homemade dynomouth
The car was so fun I wish I wouldve NEVER taken it apart..

I later ran 10.80's@124 w/the same cam but 200lbs less and better heads
LS6 S1 ported by CM here in Phila,Pa. and a Homeported Fast
I also had better headers from Hooker too..

It wasnt worth the agg...
I shouldve never taken that 1st setup apart, its was a blast to drive....

You're most definitely NOT on the list with 451 hp...

My car made 381/376 with PP stage II heads and TR224 cam, LTH, SS3200. I later added a FAST90/NW90 and gained like 10 hp and lost 8 tq.

Edit: My track times terrible 60's with street tires could not floor it out of the hole but here are the results.

best MPH 12.7 @ 113
Best ET 12.42 @ 111

Best 1/8th with the FAST and Nittos
7.96 @ 88

Switched to AFR heads (never re tuned before #7 blew)
7.86 @ 91

Get the f**k out of here troll. You do not belong with us wannabe's in here. This thread is for us 2nd class citizens.

BTW, my setup made 375/375 on a DynoJet. That is with the following specs.

98 TA
M6
SLP lid
P/P TB
LS6 intake manifold
Stock fuel pump
FMS 42lb injectors
Patriot ported LS6 heads (2.00”/1.55” & 64cc)
Patriot Gold Springs
LS7 lifters
7.35” hardened PR’s
Cometic .045” gaskets
226/230 .57x/.58x 111+2 (224/228 .581/.588 110 advertised advanced 2 on install)
UD pulley
QTP 1-3/4” headers
Magnaflow 3” Metallic-Cat converters
Bassani 2.5” dual exhaust
Stock clutch, driveshaft, and rear differential
Wait4me mail-order tune tweaked by SspdDmon (thanks )

Now, to be fair, due to evil, cosmic forces entirely beyond my control, I do not think my TB was even close to WOT when I dyno’ed, which hopefully threw my results way off. Funny story really, the summary of which is that I am an idiot.

ETA

Uh oh. PP heads are making a pretty good showing in this thread so far.
