Default Vindicator "cam only" Z28

Car is a 2000 Z28 6 speed, stock rear 3.42.......

Made 405 HP/370 TQ

AFR was in the high 10s to low 12s so it could stand to be leaned out a bit.

Mods are.........

SLP lid
ported TB
LS6 intake
Ebay headers and O/R Y
Magnaflow CB
Vindicator cam pkg

This was done using a mail order tune. I figure getting an underdrive pulley and a tune on the dyno could pick me up another 20 HP at least. I'm glad it broke the 400 RWHP mark though! Will post graph ASAP.

Not too shabby. I'm sure with a better A/F you could pick up some good power.

nice but get a real tune with that agressive of a cam you are asking for trouble. But i would bet you could easily pull out another 15 with a good tune.

A 112 LSA. I use it as my daily driver and it works great. It'll surge or buck very mildly on the freeway if I get under 1,400 RPMs or so. I figure some 4.11's in the back will make it just about perfect. Compared to stock it pulls more on the low end - even harder in the midrange -flat out screams up top! I love it! Great cam!

Thanks, I'd do a sound clip but I think you'd get bored. The Magnaflow CB is very quiet. The guys at the dyno all agreed it's the quietest car they've ever tested!

Thanks everybody for your opinions. I can't wait to get the UD pulley/Tune.

Sounds like a good cam package you got. How much did that run you? Nice numbers too!

Very nice numbers with the generic tune. You'll definitely pick some more up.

It was roughly-

$1,400 for the cam/springs/push rods/LS2 chain/oil pump etc..
$900 for all the exhaust.

.....probably another $100 in misc stuff. (oil, plugs, gaskets, etc.)
