I'm going to order one of these cams but wouldn't mind a bit more lope !!!
Well like Ryan, I used a thread from this site to select my cam. After seing this thread I pm'd Pat G. The cam I ended up getting is a 224/230 111+1. Due to an issue on the dyno we were not able to get the tune completed (but close) and we werent able to make a full pull, but with LT's, unported/unpolished 98 heads, and a LS6 intake I put down 394 rwhp @ 5800rpms STD corrected. For the mods that I have I was very impressed and I was glad I ditched my T-rex cam at the last minute. I have graphs posted here https://ls1tech.com/forums/dynamometer-results-comparisons/945183-cam-only-numbers-pat-g-226-232-a.html

Thanks Chris.
The results from Patrick G's 224/230 XFI cam installs have been fantastic.
I ordered a Comp 224/230 609/604 XFI/XFI 112 +2 for my LS2 late last month and awaiting delivery.
Fingers crossed I can obtain similar results as posted here.

Your 394 is STD not SAE so u might alittle lower than u think..
Still not bad power with the mods u have selected..

FWIW threw an UNLOCKED VIG3200 I made 410/365 SAE with the 224-230..
Now I am getting rid of the POS LS2 intake and going to redyno LOCKED and with a Fast or Weiand intake too------>Hoping for 425/385 threw my A4

FWIW threw an UNLOCKED Verter I made 410/365 with the 224-230 too
I would imagine once I get rid of the POS LS2 intake and go Weaind or Fast along with locking the verter I will see another 15 to 20 on both ends and that will make me very happy
For arguement sakes, I believe that I posted an SAE graph as well, it was 7 hp/tq lower. The graph in this thread is also STD correction.

opps sorry didnt see it..
So it made 387RW SAE and u didnt finish the tune yet
I would be very happy with those numbers with such a mild setup

It made peak in my car at 6300 so u might see alittle more power but then again my 224-230 is on XER lobes and it a 114+2 so it might peak alittle higher...One things for sure its an easy cam to tune as I only spent about hr on it from start to finish...

Yes I am very happy considering its just LT's, ls6 intake, and the fact that I made this power with 98 heads and I still haven't taken the cam to peak. I am guessing it will peak 6400-6500 rpms. It seems lke everyone is having nice results with the 224/230 cam. Was yours on the XFI lobes as well? Do you have a graph?

Since it's been a while now since you got the cam in it's a good time to ask how you're liking it? Any further plans for mods?

Everything still feels solid. I'm still surprised on how quiet the valvetrain is. There's no more 'sewing machine' sound there was with the stock stuff.

My initial goal was achieve a solid 420-425rwhp with the cam and I'd be done with everything. It's been several months and now I'm debating whether or not I should pick up a FAST92 and try to break 450rwhp, heh. It never ends.

I got 419rwhp/399rwtq with just a TSP 228 cam and stock heads on my LS6 crate engine.

Very impressive numbers! A ported FAST should get you close to the 450 mark.

It's the exact same cam that Patrick G spec'd for this C6 A4 (and matched his dyno graph almost exactly)

https://ls1tech.com/forums/dynamometer-results-comparisons/876558-patrick-g-designed-camshaft-c6-a4-results.html

I'm so stoked how tame this thing rides! These XFI lobes really kick ***.

Ragin Racin offers that cam as their Stinger Cam
