Default Trip to Speed Inc

The car went to speed inc yesterday to get tuned. Thanks to my dad and one of my best friends for heading down with it while i couldnt get out of college classes and work. Here is a little vid i put together quickly to show a few buddys.

It would be great if you posted what you have done, and a dyno sheet or at least some numbers. Sounds and looks good, but that's all there is to be said!

402 ls2, l92 cyl heads,Gm carb style intake mani set up with fast 90 mm tb
, TH400 w/ 4400 stall, runnen threw a 9" with 410 gears.

544.6 HP 506.4 ft lbs tq W/125 shot on pump gas.

That thing must RIP at the track !!!! That big stall, a 402, and a 125 shot on top, DAMN !! What kind of numbers will she pull thru the 1/4 ??

I almost Shat myself till I seen the #'s were on spray. Nice set up though.

Nice numbers. I put down 398 rwhp (NA) through a th350 w/ a 4800 stall, 9" w/ 4.11's, 28 x 11.5 - 15 ET Streets in the back, and a very decent 383 setup running 11.20's. Nice numbers on spray. How about NA numbers?

428 on motor.. Running a 4 inch single exhuast. im going to put a cut out in it and hope to gain a little on motor. Couldnt spray any more then 125 because it was a little on the lean side with anymore then that due to the fuel silenoid. Eventually i plan to buy the HSW standalone kit and up the shot, maybe even add a fogger system for a second stage. We will see what the future may bring.

Allso the car has not been to a track yet, was gong to go this weekand but the weather is calling for rain here in iowa. I will up date as soon as i make it.

I am his dad, I predict 10s on motor, high 9s on spray, I am going to get it set-up to spray the 150hp, instaed of the 125hp shot. My 98 went 11.31 @ 124.9 N/A and 10.31 w/ the 100 shot @ 131, his car made more power than mine, but mine still needs tuned. I have been told that the TH400 thats in it kills alot of power to the wheels?

Yes he will race it at Earlville, the 98 in my aviator pic is taken at Earlville last year, Look us up if your there.

dont worry about the dyno #'s....th350/400 cars put down low #'s and outrun M6/t56 guys with 75 more rwhp....

My car dynoed 425 rwhp and ran 10.8 @ 128's with a th350...

yea, thats what i figured, i will be happy with even a 10.9 on motor and a low 10 high 9 on spray. Not to worried should be prety do able, my dads car is a forged 347, and he went low 11s on motor and 10.3 on a 100 shot with it going a lill lean and surging. Plus my car made about 40 more RWP on motor then his and he has a TH350.

Thanks for all the posative comments guys, i will let you all know how it goes if the weather ever cooperates and i get to a track.. Hopefully sooner then later.

i too will be going to speed inc soon to tune my 402 and then going to earlville, cordova, cedar falls. Maybe i will see ya there

Great numbers with that big stall and rearend. Car should rock. The guys at speed have always treated me well also.
