quite low. when i was H/C, Ls6 intake, stock Ls1 TB (non P&P), LT's SLP LM cat-back i was at 409/386...M6, Stock rear/stock gears...

Comp 224/224 .581/.581 @112lsa
Patriot Stage II Ls6 Style heads, 59cc (2.02"int/1.57"ext)

Im still running the same H/C setup, but with a few more goodies on her now...

I have never bought into the 5.3L head bandwagon. This further confirms it for me. Best of luck with your continued build...

i can give you what i gained when i swapped out my Ls6 intake and stock Ls1 (non P&P) TB, for a ported FAST 90/90 set-up...

i went from 409/386 to 444/395...i have a thread on it somewhere on here. also click on the youTube link in my sig and you can see other videos of my car's build up...

that was a gain of 35rwhp/10rwtq roughly...

Underdrive Pulley, cutout, Dont throw your money away on the 90/90 its a lot of money for the gain. If you want to get drastic sell the heads invest the money for the 90/90 into a worked over set of AFR's or ETP's you will have a better overall AVG Hp then just peak. AVG = faster car

i paid $900 for my ported FAST 90/90 combo from a guy in Houston that had 0 road miles on the car, and had no more than 10 dyno pulls through it...

sold my Ls6 intake for $300, which means i really only spent $600 for the FAST 90/90. I should have just done the FAST to begin with and save myself time, money, and resources...

Thats a good deal you got. Not everyone will be able to find deals like that. Just saying for the most part that you may end up spending $1400 just for a ported 90/90. Q for SSwt00SS do you know what duty cycle your injectors get to?

Deals are out there. I have seen several ported FAST 90's go for $600 on the board. I got my Ported FAST 78 for nothing.

98's are NOTORIOUS for dynoing low, regardless of mods, not really sure why. My old 98 only did 342 cam only, and 392 w/a TR224 and heads, it was an A4, however. Your numbers aren't super low or anything, just on the low end of the mean. That cam on a 114 dynos a lil lower anyway. I bet you'd pick up a lil more with a FAST, but it wouldn't be worth it unless you had a cam that moves more air, IMO.

I must agree your results are not the norm. I bought a FAST and put it on my PP Stage II heads w/ TR224 cam and gained 12hp and lost 6tq I was so disappointed that I did not even get a copy of the graph...

To OP

Your results are in the middle...when I was H/C with the TR224 I made 381/376...w/ FAST 90 it went to 393/370 through a 3600 stall A4.

normal or not, a fraction of the outcome is part research, another, the parts selected. the final outcome, rests in the tune...

sure, people cannot believe that my set-up is this strong. my goal was to build a stout street car and to max out this 224 cam. im still working on the latter...
