are you serious?? no way in hell it will trap that high on motor unless its a gutted out big stall car. My buddies car that does trap 109 in the 1/8th on motor is a solid roller c5r 434.

Congratulations on the great combo you put together, you are matching my power but my little stock block is higher in torque...

Enjoy the ride!

if the car is setup properly it should go 125+ and if it's light it could surprise some people

get it to the track and lets see the results to back the #'s

I think you'll be suprised. I talked with this owner through PM's and his previous setup trapped 98mph with 80 less hp.. so I think my guess was pretty accurate. About your buddies car, with a 109 1/8th he's trapping about 132-134 in the 1/4 with a solid roller 434? A high end 346 H/C should be right there..

wouldn't think so man. 109 in the 1/8th is most likely 140 or so in the 1/4. I'd imagine this guys car to crest 125mph in the 1/4, a big difference.

I don't think the average car trapping 109 picks up 31 mph in the 2nd 8th. That's VERY extreme. 21-22 mph would be more like it.

You are closer to the specs then the other guy. Big duration, and big lift. The valve springs take one hell of a beating from this cam. Should be called g5xxx because she's nasty !!

I don't think the average car trapping 109 picks up 31 mph in the 2nd 8th. That seems extreme. 30mph would be good for a car like LMR's to pick up on the back half. And we're talking about 1500hp+ cars

The car is gonna roll! My car made 500 rwhp and 433 rwtq and went 100 in the 1/8th and 126.5 in the 1/4 at 3725 raceweight with the 347 in it shifting gears.

Good numbers buddy! Be sure to post what it runs. Should be a screamer! Then time for some spray.

the cam is actually not as big as everyone thinks, it is virtually identical to the G5X3 cam, just slightly tweaked

i am not positive just yet, and will find out real soon, but with very similar builds to this one i have run 10.95 at 128 and 11.30 at 132 all through a 6speed with 4.10s.... also i dont know if anyone really looked at the dyno graph but the torque curve holds EXTREMELY well and keeps making power!!!!! within the next 2 weeks i will have definite times for this set up.... so NO MORE speculation!!!

Then are you sure you have the g5xx cam, or do you have a custom grind. The last time I talked to some of the guys at LGM the specs were beyond that of the g5x4. No I won't repeat what I was told. LOL. Insider info.

BTW I have the g5x3vII cam, and its basically the g5x3 "tweaked"

Louis used my car as a test mule for version II. I think thats what you got.

allngn_c5........yeh looking at your mods our cars motors are very similar!!!! but i have trick flows and a stock water pump.... i would love to see your dyno graph and see how your hp and tq curves are....also i stated G5XX because the XX just means custom, but if i were to say what it was almost identical to, it would be the G5X3 cam...

Ok I was under the impression that the g5xx cam was the same time after time. I must've gotten something confused.

As far as our cars being similar you are correct. I suppose if I had the trickflows, and harland sharps, I would've had a better chance to hit 500 rwhp. You got yourself a nice build there. Check your PM bro.
