tsp built 408 dyno #'s?
I'm getting a 6.0 408 lQ9 assembled short block built by TSP for my 2001 SS. Cam is comp cam custom 240/244 609/612 114 lsa, heads are TFS 235 milled to 62cc making 11.2:1 CR, Fast 92/92 ported tb and intake/fast fuel rails, racetronics fuel pump, ls6 oil pump, asp underdrive pully, 36 lb fast injectors, slp maf, lt 1.78 headers /y-pipe borla catback, ls2 timing chain. Performabuilt level 2 trans with vig 3400 stall. And moser 9" 3.89. So what should I expect with a good tune on dynojet? My goal is 500rwhp or more is this feasible with my set up?

Well you may not see 500 NA but I think you should be close. I know you will for sure with a little spray. You might want to also look at a backup plan on the ole 4L60 and look at getting an additional fuel pump or a stand alone for the spray. My tranny has less than 2000 miles on it and I don't want to ruin it behind my 408 and spray. I would rather sell it and get a 4L80.

Good set-up. I have a 408 with A4 and love it. I got numbers in my sig. I have alot bigger cam than yours. Mine is 250 255 640 640 113 Our A4 are hard to pull good numbers on the dyno. They show at the track!! But you have a strong set-up. I also spray a 200 shot and its awsome. I have 42lb inject, fuel rails, 255 in-tank pump for the spray-wet kit! as for the tranny being a concern. Century built mine tough, haven`t had any issues at all! I have a stage 3 build. Thats what you need also for future spray, Let me know if you have any questions. My set-up is very close to yours!! Good Luck!!

Drivability is awsome going from a standard tune to SD tune. My cam is so big that it surged when driving alittle and cold starts where tough. Now I can start right up and back out of the garage to let her warm up and drivability down low is sweet! I let my wife drive her now!
No MAF is needed with SD tune.
