402 + TFS235s...

Thanks. I got to the track last week in the nasty heat and humidity with a DA of over 3,000ft and ran 10.76@130.88 with a 1.73 60ft in street trim, I ran almost 105 in the 1/8th with heavy rims on DR's. I am expecting to see 9.9@137 with my cam and intake change, a drag pack, and good weather.

Yes I do run SD some of the time. I happen to like running the MAF. It gives you more data points to make fuel corrections. Plus I get a little better gas milage with it and it is not effected by weather as bad. I tune in OLSD using Auto VE for a base table. Then I go to CLSD and fine tune my WOT and driving tables as best I can. (all on the same day, or in like weather over a couple of days. I try to stay with in 15* max difference.) Then I re-enable the MAF and tune it to match the fuel curves. The trick is to get your SD VE tuning as perfect as you can in each gear over WOT. The MAF will give you more data points to make corrections but your VE table has to be spot on to make it work so you have equal fuel in each gear at WOT. The problem now is that I have maxed out my MAF and it is becoming a restriction. I can still get the fuel good with it but above 6,000 it is all a guess. With the new cam and intake I am expecting to max it out in the low 5,000 range. So I am pretty sure I am going to go CLSD and use a GTO IAT sensor and do the best I can. I really have to get it on a dyno both ways, CLSD and MAF, to see if the MAF is costing me any thing in real life.

Update...
509rwhp/480rwtq. This is a xpipe/catted stock Ti exhaust street car. I think it runs pretty good now. Very smooth idle and lots of top end. I can't wait to track test it again after the tune up.

Those numbers are about right. Torque curve looks great (though I think the 235s are costing you some airspeed on the 402 - the TFS225s and AFR 205 headed 402s with mid-230s cams are right near 500/500).
Vengeance has used their VRX5 (236/238), which is very close to your cam, and made 520+ with TFS 225s on a 402 and 530+ with TFS 235s on a 427 L92 in a C5. I believe they both were catless though.

What AF did it peak at? I noticed the same while tuning. One of my passes which was close to the peak # was at 12.3:1 if you can believe that.
