Nice #'s...I have a 229-233 .571 .578 on 114+2 going in with my stock 98 heads that have been milled .040 with MLS Gaskets
I would love to pull anywhere from 385-400RWHP and 380+RWTQ through my locked Vig 3600. I should have Dyno #s next Saturday
But this was ground specificly for my nitrous combination on my stock shortblock so I'm not sweating the N/A dyno #'s... It should be a monster on the 150-200 RWHP hit and another 225-250RWTQ through my nitrous dedicated fuel system(C16 F T W)
What LSA and how much advance did you order it with?
With those MLS gaskets on the 98 heads did you weld the little notch in the heads to keep the MLS gaskets sealing?

I believe the fuel that is in there is about 8-9 months old. Does fuel breakdown after sitting for a bit?[/QUOTE]
Not Really but the fluids in the motor can get wierd sometimes, but that was with a much older car of mine

PIcked the car up and had to drive it with some crappy tires in the pouring rain... just got home from that shitty expierence. Formato still has to get me the graph but a full pull was never made. The car sounds pretty good and pulls nnicely down low. I couldn't keep the tires under the car though even in a lower gear... I will have more updates very soon.

Will do. I am waiting on some stuff to be e-mailed over to me because alot of my paperwork was lost when I got back home.. the dyno graph is one of them. I will be recieving the e-mail sometime tomorrow but we werent able to put the car back on the dyno as of yet so final numbers will have to wait a few weeks. 394@5800 is pretty nice considering everyone told me about how bad these heads are and I would have to have a big cam to break 400 with the 98 heads. I cant wait to get out to the track and see how well the car does. I took it out again and it pulls very strong through the whole power range up to about 6500 where I left off... I sure it will pull power a little more but the tires were starting to break loose at the high rpms.

On The Tree
to say fuel doesnt go bad.. i disagree
i am a small engine mechanic currently and have been for the past 3 years while i make my way though college.. anyhow i see all sorts of fuel problems becuase those little engines can be very finicky on fuel quality. and with handheld equipment like chainsaws that arent used every week like your lawnmower - i see the issue even more frequently. 8-9 months tho you'll be o.k. but you can bet your fuel isnt as good as fresh stuff.
the truck in my sig i ran through highschool and some of college.. has a very high DCR for pump gas and in this south texas heat would diesel when i shut it off sometimes.. so i did some research on fuel back in the day. from what i remember 93 will hold its freshness almost twice as long as the lower grades if you are using a brand like chevron or shell with additives. in fact at the time i was a ford guy but im almost positive i found that information on ls1tech. doesnt mean its accurate, and im damn sure not a chemist even tho i took 1411 - just sayin.
when i was racing dirtbikes a few years ago, my 2 stroke 250 would run like *** on fuel that was over roughly 2 months old. and it was even kept in a VP can so i donno. just addin some food for thought
great numbers on stock heads man for that size cam - i cant wait till i get my car ready for a pat g cam. but the 2.73's and stock tq converter gotta go first

I just recieved the raphs from Jeremy Formato. I hve to DL a viewer first but I will be getting the graphs up shortly. I need to have Jeremy tweak the tune just a bit do to the problem we had on the dyno and by the time he does that, I will have some miles on this motor and much better gas in there.
