Default TSP 231/237 Cam & Patriot Stage 2 5.3L Heads 440 RWHP!!

I just got my car back from Texas Speed & Performance, and they added the Patriot Scratch & Dent 5.3L heads & ASP pulley. The results are 441rwhp & 400+rwtq!! The guys at Texas Speed will be posting the graph pretty soon, last I checked Jason was putting the discriptions on the dyno sheet. Now its time to get this thing to the track!!

MODS:
TSP 231/237 Cam
Patriot 5.3L Uncut Heads
TSP Pushrods
TSP Lid
TSP Ported TB
K&N Filter
Hooker Longtubes
Hooker Y Pipe
Open Cutout
TSP Tuning
ASP Pulley

Now its time to add a new water pump

Thanks TSP!!

Here's the graph

Guess that answers some of the questions on what these heads are capable of!!

This graph was with no dyno tricks! Just for a example of dyno tricks, I made a pull with 40psi of tire pressure & no belt & the car went 452.x rwhp.

Not bad for a set of heads that weren't decked for added compression! Also the pistons were not cut any at all. There's probably 10rwhp in the car if we would have cut the heads & cut valve reliefs, but thats for another day!!!

Oh did I mention the package with heads, cam, pushrods, timing chain is 1889.99!!!

See, Pat heads and TEA are still AWESOME heads in the proper hands. In the hands of nimrods, no heads work well. That's a hard rationale for many to grasp!

Wow 60 hp from the heads . These are Magic heads!

ITs so weird that other guys are getting around 23 . I guess they just have to get tuned @ TSP to unleash another 40 hp. Ive always heard TSP has a great rep for being strait shooters and not bullshitters so that alone will be the reason I wont be the one to call BS.
I guess we will be seeing these #`s all over soon on other dynos.

Congrats on the #`s and have fun

The rear end has 3.42 gears in a stock 10 bolt.

The TA had a problem at high rpm's so I think that was killing some hp when it was cam only, but the main thing to get from this graph is the heads are capable of putting down great power!!!

Here's the graph with some dyno tricks I figure the best way to show the car didn't have any dyno tricks done, is to show what it does when you do the tricks!!!

wow so texas speed did the dynoing put it on a dyno from a shop who does not sell patriot heads. Its a no brainer if you make a car dyno higher you'll sell more heads. prove it on an independant dyno and ill believe it. It is real easy to cheat on a dyno. i have seen well over 20 hp gains from messing with the weather station alone. if they are real congrats on your budget hp gains.
