Default PRC 5.3 heads, FAST 90/90, Torquer V3, forged TSP short block numbers...

Hey guys. The car was dyno'd last Jan. in Bowling Green KY. Im bored off my *** right now and gots nothing to do. So, heres the graph....

I plan on getting the thing re-tuned in Tampa Bay this November. It has some idle problems I believe, so I will get those ironed out and possibly throw on some different injectors for the tune. Should have some new numbers for y'all then.

forged shortblock and no t-rex? damn it man..

nice numbers either way. i'd put a nasty cam in that bitch and spin it until it quits making power.

what are the numbers? I can't see the graph! I was wanting to swap my MTI X1 for a high lift cam since my car isn't driven too often. Your setup is close to what I thought I wanted.

Naaa. No T-Rex for me. The Torquer cam makes plenty of power and the mid-range isn't all that bad either. I didn't have much time to pick and choose the absolute BEST combo of parts. The car was down and it was my daily driver. TSP was my one stop shop. If I could do it over again I'd probably consult with Patrick G and do it right as far as cam selection is concerned! She still pulls like a rapped ape though!

The WOT tuning is great. Its just my idle tables seem to be jacked up. May have a small vac leak somewhere as well.

Yea, the stock injectors are way maxed. I cant remember what the duty cycle was, it was up there though. In the A/F graph (Which I don't have) you can really see it start to lean out around 6500 RPM. With some beefier injectors I really think I could see a tad more torque and carry the power out a little further!

Max numbers were 454/405

Wow... I'm impressed. Is the 90/90 ported? Congrats to you and TSP for a budget badass build!

Don't be fooled bro! There was nothing "budget" about it. TSP has good deals, but it still made me sick to think about spending 8 grand on a car that I don't even own yet. My girl actually paid for it all. I turned that girl into my wife as soon as humanly possible! Haha.

The FAST is not ported. Came direct from TSP and I bolted it on top. I'm sure it'll get ported one of these days...

The main reason why I went with the FAST was not because of performance (though it is a nice perk), but because you can take the thing apart. My old motor spit the #7 intake valve up into the intake. It was shattered into pieces and I couldn't get it all out of the old LS6. I DEFINATELY was not going to throw that on top of a brand new 6,500 dollar long block.
