Default n/a 370 record??

just wondering what the record for hp/tq is for a daily driver n/a 370. im not talking about 13:1 comp, and full roller, and race gas. im talking hydraulic roller on pump gas, that is streetable. i just dynoed mine and it made 484/426 corrected on a mustang dyno, this was thru a m6, moser 12 bolt, 4.11's, built steel driveshaft, and chrome 18" c5 z06 wheels. all other mods are in sig. please post up numbers, what type of dyno, corrected or uncorrected, and all mods. also mine still has a stock size lid, maf, tb, and ls6 intake.

Mustang dyno
484/426 corrected
461/406 uncorrected

hell try the l92 heads and be around 500whp Your prc heads only flow 312cfm and ported prc l92 heads flow 349cfm@.600lift The l92 intake and 90mmtb will help too! Hell the stock l92's flow about 13 more CFM then the prc ls6 heads

i went with these heads because i already had the 243 castings and this was all i could afford. this is a complete budget build. and if i was on a dynajet it would have been 500rwhp. hell just using the 7% correction factor it would have been 518/456.

i saw alot of them fall off at 6100 and i think cam choice is difficult

not at all man, we are all here to help each other. its a comp custom grind, 242/246 612/615 112 +4.

and yes, this was very much a budget build, i prob dont have over 3k in the heads and motor, including gaskets. which i did already have the ls6 castings.

if you are saying on the mustang dyno, im not sure. itd take the ported 92/92 setup, with the 85mm lid and maf setup too. as far as on a dynajet, hell im almost there now.

White Mongoose put those same numbers down with a 347.

Search his setup. With his heads and cam on your motor you would make some sick power.

if he made that much on a 347, then he's got a hell of a setup, is it a full roller setup, with 13:1 compression and race gas? and was that on a mustang dyno? thats alot of hp for a 347

He is pretty built.

Forged 347, edelbrock 245 heads, 243-251 112+4 .621 lift cam, LT's, 4" exhaust with XR-1 muffler dumped (what I can remember from him telling me his mods)

thats pretty impressive. i know my setup has somemore in it, but im outta cash. i was just wanting to see what other 370's are doing on the dyno.
