Default FAST 92/92 swapped in

What's up everybody. My LS6 intake and stock throttle body came out today for a FAST 92/ Jantzer 92mm throttle body, and I was a little disappointed with the results. I realize that I need a larger maf and a larger lid to fully take advantage of the airflow, but oh well.

I dyno'd at only 358whp/318wtq with the LS6 intake and the stock tb. Today I dyno'd 367whp/330wtq after the new intake and throttle body. The gains are smaller than I would have guessed, especially with heads and cam on the car. However, below peak the gains were more.

All runs were unlocked on a Mustang dyno

I'm still trying to figure out why my car doesn't like to make power...it's definitely the one of the lowest trapping/dynoing H/C/I LS1s I know. Here's my mod list now:

Bolt ons:

Pacesetter Headers
TSP 3" ORY
Magnaflow catback
MTI Clear Lid
FAST 92/ 92mm TB
DMH Electric cutout

Chassis/Suspension:

BMR Weld-in Subframe Connectors
BMR Adjustable Torque Arm
BMR Adjustable Lower Control Arms
Chrome ZR-1 wheels 17x9.5 and 17x11
Moser 12-bolt rear with 3.73's and spool
ARP Chrome Moly Wheel Studs
Nitto 555R Drag Radials 315/35/17

Transmission:

Performabuilt 4L60E Level 2
Performabuilt 3600 stall

Engine:

PRC Stage 2.5 Ported LS6 Heads
Comp Cams 228/230 .571/.573 112 LSA
Chrome Moly Hardened Pushrods
TSP Ported LS6 Oil Pump

yeah i have the same cam as you,and ported ls6 heads that probably flow real similar to yours, and when i added my home ported fast 90/90 setup i gained a solid 20 rwhp and 18 ftlb of torque.I also gained a lot under the curve..If its not ported and that stock size maf are in the way then you wont gain much..

what does the car trap/ run. I say ditch that cam and get something similar to the ms3 or polluter.

So far I've run a 11.9 @ 113.5 with a 1.68 60 foot. There's more to be had in the 60 foot, that's for sure. I accidently staged reallllly deep that run. Next time I'm running lighter wheels, taking out the back seat, and I have this new intake setup with a couple more hp. I'd like to trap 115 before I spray.

well you were on a mustang dyno... and those always read low from what i heard from members.....with your mods you should be like at 422 or something in another dyno..specially concidering that camaro stock dyno like 350 with boltons on a regular dyno..i guess in your case its all about the times that you are putting down at the track..it seems with so many different dynos reading more than others that **** is just a number

You mine as well throw out those number for an unlocked converter on a Mustang dyno.

Hopefully you will have some nice results at the track. I would have ported the intake though before you put it in.

Nah, I don't have the A/F ratio on the sheet. I've heard only good things about my tuner, and I've been happy with him. I think it's just my car - an m6 was in the shop today with a 224 cam only and it made 395.

those numbers are low.
my car has only pacesetter lt's,tsp ory, 3in" custom magnaflow exhaust, lid, and a p&p tb with a tune and my car made 335.8 hp and 353.2 of tq. it could just be the dyno like said above and your in the 11's.
before the fast you tq was really low almost close to a stock car so i think it must be the mustang dyno.

You don't have a stall - those numbers are totally different with a stock stall.

But I agree, my numbers are low.
