99's dont' say Cobra on teh rear bumper.The say mustang. The 96-98, 01, 03/04s say COBRA on the bumper.

The motor should be number marked along with 'SVT' somewhere.

ok. if i can ill try and get a pic or atleast a look at the motor. I got a look once but didnt take a good enough look. lol. will it say svt on the valve covers and intake? Any other indications to look for?

it'll say SVT BUILT BY: and have two signatures on the left valve cover I think, its a pretty big badge and the signatures are the builders of the motor....

It will be an epic kill too, My lt1 had one death to a mid 90's gt with heads cam and gear, didnt have troubles with anything else, and i raced alot

I got a look at the car on my way to school and theres a GT badge on the trunk so its not a cobra... idk who would pay 17,500 for a 120,00 mile GT ?? Someone didnt do their research.... 03-04 woulda been beast!

He's probably FOS on the price he paid. Traditionally "trying to impress" everyone, all the while looking more and more like an idiot. You'd have to ASK to be overcharged at that price and mileage for a 99-04. Hell, even S197s aren't going for that much.

haha yeah i wondered about the price too i mean i understand some people are loaded but its the kids first car and he is in high school idk of many people who have 17k cars in HS but yeah when they race ill def get a video

if you dont pull him by 2 bus lengths, its a cobra, and itll be 1.5 bus lengths

Loudest stock LS1 eva, must of been the BS factory god edition. Next time line up with him and give some sort of indication of when a race is going to start. A video starting with you already full throttle a car length behind and then staying in it till you're 50 car lengths ahead is just garbage.

I didn't see a race, but if ya say that is what the outcome should be. I guess we will take your word for it.

it did come with the "GE" package.. or "God Edition" for long.. also came with the option that i cant be beat my mustangs, DUH!

full throttle a car length behind... we were rolling at 20, i waited until we cleared a hill so we knew if any cars were coming..

i didnt see MUCH of a race, but i did see a race nonetheless..

H/C/I stripper.. that is what the outcome should be.... actually should be worse because i was on street tires, i 1/2 throttles it to 50, then 3/4 throttle till 65, then full throttle to 110 where i let out..

like i said, im stock.. down to the paper air filter..

No doubt you would have raped a stock 99 Cobra with your mods, but that's the worst setup race I've ever seen. If you go from a roll start NEXT to the car and give it 3 honks. Starting a car length behind the car and just flooring isn't anything to watch.

600lbs? 99 Cobras weigh 3400lbs, your Camaro weighs 2800lbs? I see you're e-challenging me to a race. Well, it would be a good race, I'm just in a little old full weight M6 Cobra with simple bolt-ons and a little juice.
