ls1 vs 99 Cobra
Well over Christmas a kid at my school got a car as a present, He got a 1999 Mustang Cobra with a CAI and an SLP catback. I was wondering how I would do against him because ever since he got the car all he has done is mouth me about how my poor lil 350 wouldnt be able to keep up He knows nothing about his car. I had to tell him it wasnt stock and the parts he had on it..... and its also an auto with 120000 mi. on it.

35th anniv would obviously be a '99, but in 2000, the only Cobra made was the Cobra R. And back to the regular Cobra in 01-03-04.
And I'd say GT if its an auto. Unless someone swapped an auto Mach1 tranny in the damn thing.

I dont know much about mustangs. I just heard that the 2 valves were... well... dogs. haha. but it should be funny considering i havnt spent over 8k on mine with the car and parts and he spent 17k for a clone... wow. His face will be priceless.

So an intake/exhaust 2v stang, full weight, with an auto.... should be good for a 14.0.
Looks like your car is plenty capable of squeezing a decent mid 12 second pass.
This should get ugly.

pssst.....look under the rear......IRs or SRA?
SRA + Auto + 2000 = GT
IRS + AUTO + 99 COULD = Cobra..but I doubt it wiht the auto.
NO MATTER what, you'll win..it's just a matter of how bad. LOL

Cobra intakes are 4V intakes and won't work on a 2V as far as I know.
