No secret. I am thinking of dropping a HUGE amount into the car. 500 cid plus. I love big cube motors! Add boost with that and now yer talkin'! As long as what I have cooking comes through, money wont be an issue on that level. The wife might **** a turttle when she sees the bill though.LOL

I haven't made up my mind how far past 500 I will be going. It will still be a street car. I need to do some research before I comit to to big. I don't know how streetable those engines are.

I was thinking about going BBC until I saw the new RHS LS block
weight is a big factor to me. Are you going to build the engine from the bottom up?
If so are you looking at Merlin and Dart blocks?

What Confuzed???
You're leaving the LSXs behind?
I wish I could get a massive BBC project underway.

The GMPP 572 looks pretty sick, but the CR is a bit high at 9.6:1 for FI...
You should drop one into your mach Sarge

I am not leaving the LSX blocks. You can get over 500 cubes with them now. They put deck spacers in and you have to gasket both sides. I love the new school stuff. I am just concerned about the streetability of these engines. Plus the cost is higher than Giraff *****.

I've seen a very streetable NA 500ci build, but I've never seen anything bigger than that.
Sounds pretty awesome

UPDATE
I spent the weekend working on the TB. I had to take several steps backwards to make sure all the grounds where hooked up correctly. There are only a billion. The fluids are in, the belts on, coil packs bolted up. Ready to go right? Wrong.
So lets pan back a bit. I have the right side exhaust manifold off so I can reach the starter. I have trouble locating one of the starter wires because it was ground to a place that it wasn't supposed to go. Get that squared away and am thinking it is time to bump the starter to make sure it works before I plug the manifold back in...........for the 3rd time.
I hook up the freshley charged battery and am giddy with anticipation. After bolting the connectors to the battery, I turn around to enjoy my unopened beer. As the delightful crack/hiss of the beer sings to my taste buds I here the radio in the HellBlazer com on and a few crackles.
I slowly turn, with frown on my face, beer in mouth only to see a two foot high flame shooting up from the engine bay! I about **** a turtle!! I just stand there in despondant disbeliefe. Then a thought occurs to me. "LET THE MOTHER ****** BURN"!!!!!!!! I sigh and about face to the kitchen grabbing the largest cup of water possible. I get out and she is going strong still. I poor the water on the flame and go in after making sure the flames were properly put out.
I then look in the cab of the TB and see the keys are in it in the on position. DOH!! Funny thing, when you pull the battery or it dies and you have the key in it, it is stuck in the ignition until you restore current. Geez......Turns out I only fried a ground wire or so it seems.
That night the wife helped me put in the exhaust and pulled the manifolds up from the bottom. I have complete diagrams of the ground for a TB now. So I pray to the horse power gods my sacrifices and time are enough to get this 500 plus HP beast to come to life. Plug wires and coolant hoses are all that should be left after chasing the grounds.
I have a ton of pics and video of this debacle. Bad enough I have to hear my wife's **** sucker running all the time about this.LOL It is now becoming a point of levity at her and my work. They are taking bets. Some people have gone as far as July.LOL It would be funny if this **** didn't keep happening.
Lost bolts are another issue I have had. I even bagged and tagged them all and some of the little bastards still found a way to escape. When I pull out I will have a follow car to pick up the trail of tools I am sure to leave behind.
