With a 224 cam? And with mid 230s cam?

Im trying to decided between an f-body and a c5. Is it really going to be worth spending the extra money for a vette.

For what its worth here are some numbers from a few of my last setups.

99 frc ~ 3300 lbs (w/ me) 390rwhp
226-232 comp cam, Vararam, headers, 3.90 gears tune 390 rwhp = 122mph in cool air 120 in summer (11.7 on nittos)

2001 Z06 - 3300 lbs w/ me 500 rwhp = 11.1 @ 130.50 on nittos

Just the fact the a FRC/Z06 is 400lbs less than a f-body will make a huge difference.

Thanks, sounds like cam+150 shot should get 130 traps then in a c5.
