RWHP in 99 Formula
I have a 99 Formula M6, I'm looking to add American Racing Headers with Catted Y or SLP new design headers, and I can't decide on which one to buy yet. My current mods right now are SLP flow pack, SLP cat-back, LS6 intake, and a tune. I'm making 327 RWHP and 343 ft lbs torque. I'm just wondering by adding headers with the catted Y, how much hp will I be getting with the tune with either one of those headers? And with headers do you think I will be able to get into the 12's with these mods? Thanks.

You should be able to snag 12s already if you can hook and shift. A full exhaust usually nets anywhere from 20 to 30 horses. Sometimes you'll see people gaining a little more, sometimes less.

Thanks for posting man, I'm having a hard time trying to decide to do either long tube headers or a cam for my next mod, I'm trying to come up with the right set up to hang with my uncle's 03 cobra that will be pullied soon in the spring. I just don't want to embarrass myself when we race, haha.

I'd go with the headers first. You'll never see the cam's full potential without first opening up the exhaust side of things. Not only do you gain a nice bit of power, but the sound alone is worth the while.
For what it's worth, I ran a best of 13.4 at 104 and a 2.0 60ft with a lid and no muffler. After adding a full exhaust, I've managed a best of 12.9 at 106 with a 1.9 60ft. My car runs rich as hell, so times should improve with a little tuning.
