Stock F-bodies are slow after you have driven a H/C version for a while. Honestly, I feel like my TA doesn't really have "*****" w/o the N2O anymore.
Anyhow, once you guys get a cam you will understand. Its a process (or an addicition) depending on your perspective.

Those cobras are a little overrated. I'd have to say our cars have more "potential". Considering those things cost $10k more than ours in good condition, you could easily go forced induction and have a bigger engine and better looks (imo) with ours. They are good cars, but I would say they are a little overrated.

First I am going to disagree and say LS1 powered cars and Mustangs are fun, quick cars to drive. You can't deny that.
Second, I test drove a 03 cobra a year ago and I was not very impressed. It is a cool car and I would drive one if it was offered to me, but not instead of my f-body. The stock clutch pedal was like pushing a boulder down, the interior was very uncomfortable, and it didn't handle at all. You can tear me apart if you want, but I like the car as a whole to be fun to drive, comfortable, the whole package. It just seemed to me like it was brutally fast and that was the end of the story. I was very comfortable when I got back in my car after the drive, much easier and fun to drive. I respect that Terminator though, very fast and neat mustangs.

Seeing as your car makes the RWHP that A Cobra makes at the CRANK, I don't see why you expected to be impressed with the performance. Try To Drive A Modded One pushing the same rwhp as your T/A and THEN you can fairly compare how they act.
But,All these opinions about "slow" cars are relative.
If a 13 sec F-Body is "slow", That also means that a 9 second Cobra can be "slow", That also means A 7 second Supra can be "slow", That Also Means A 4 Second Dragster can be "slow"...etc.
It seems kind of dumb to put it that way though. Why would you spend all that money on a car just so it can be "slow"?
If Your Car Makes You Go When You Get On It, It's Fast Enough.

how many 9-10 second street cars do you just see running around, to most people a stock f-body or cobra is plenty fast we here on ls1 tech are speed deamons so stock fbodys and cobras might seem slow to us. Most of us have cars putting out close too or at least 400 rwhp so the stock stuff seems like nothing.
