I don't have any personal experience, but every car feels different. Just cuz one "feels" faster doesn't mean it will cut lower times in a 1/4. I would say stick with the t/a.

I think that the reason they are so badass is not cause they are killer in stock form, but that you can just throw a few simple mods on like a pulley and exhaust and get these things to be monsters. I'm sure compared to your car it felt inferior, your car has a lot more power.
Can you compare anything else though maybe? I've never test drove one before. How was the clutch? Seating position, quality of the ride and interior?

What did you expect? It was bone stock. Stock Cobras (and fbodies)
are slow. No surprise there.

car drove good i liked it alot i guess i just was disappointed because of all the hype i hear about them and PLEASE DONT GET ME WRONG im not cutting the car or the people who own them down.....the only thing i didnt like about it is the clutch will defintelly give ur leg a workout very stiff clutch that may be the reason i dont end up buying it because my wife who is like 90 pounds soaking wet could barely push the clutch down hahaha

I woulden't call stock Cobras and F-Bodies "slow." Now a Smart car, that is slow, a 17 sec. Honda, that is slow, high 12/low 13 sec cars out of the box are not slow.

That's your opinion. There is nothing special about high 12/low 13 second cars IMO.

12/13 seconds cars were "quick" or "fast" like 10-15 years ago. In todays world with the technology thats available, a fast car for most guys would be a nice 9-10 second street car or anything above 500-550rwhp. Termi's do drive nice though and the throttle response of their blowers are sweetness. My neighbor has a Kenne Bell 03 Cobra that has around 600rwhp, its fun haha

I'm not at all a big spelling guy as I can't spell worth crap, but if you're going to put a word in all caps in the title of the thread, you might as well spell it correctly. I mean, that's way off.

Just Josh'n ya.

how many 9-10 second street cars do you just see running around, to most people a stock f-body or cobra is plenty fast we here on ls1 tech are speed deamons so stock fbodys and cobras might seem slow to us. Most of us have cars putting out close too or at least 400 rwhp so the stock stuff seems like nothing.

Dude your definition of slow and stout are way different from others...a stock civic is slow, a stock terminator Cobra or Ls1 fbody isnt.

I know everyone has a different opinion on whats "fast" or not, however I still don't think stock Cobras and F-Bodies belong in the "slow" category at all. Compared to most other cars produced they are fast...

Ive been looking at picking up a terminator for awhile now and i drove one a few weeks ago. i dont know what your torque numbers look like down low, but i would think an 03/04 cobra would feel faster just because of the instant torque the eaton produces.

either way as soon as i unload my car im picking one up somewhere. ive always loved how they look and i never see many of them my way.
