its funny how hes saying they are 14 second cars because it was a close race....

how can someone say that when they only raced for a 20mph increment? thats just stupid. Thats not even a 3 second race in a LS1. The car didnt even get rolling damnit.

hell, I ran a 13.6 @ 106 bone stock running on 7 cylinders (had a hole in piston #5 and didnt find out until a week later after the track)

Y'all are laughing, but this is the kind of dude that you could hustle so bad he wouldn't remember which way was up. I'd love to run him in my full bolt-on Z... I might run a high 13, if I could hook...

Turns out I live about 80 miles from him. But he is honestly a waste of time for either of my cars. Not worth the 93 octane.

My 93 T/A ran 14.2 when it was stock and my WS6 ran 13.7......These guys don't know much about f-bodies. How many f-bodies that race on the street do you think are completely stock? Not many.

Ls1 GTO's i've seen run 14s, however where im from (Sacramento, CA) almost every decent driver with any LS1 camaro, trans am, or 6.0L GTO dip into the 13s regardless unless there having major traction issues. Now there could be alot of hidden factors we don't see that these drivers might have, such as bad track prep, real crappy tires etc. But any decent driver should be able to hit 13's regardless.

TA's are slow.. Fact.

Stock Camaros on the other hand.... They tend to hover around mid to low 12's stock

What is his elevation? It makes a pretty big difference, but I know if a guy in even a BONE stock TA was running mid 14s he would get laughed off of the drag strip.

Quick Reply: LS1 Trans Am's run mid 14's stock IF they hook!
