Whoa. The website is ls1truck.com. You would think being a part of the "LSx" community, they would know something about all cars with these engines in them.
And laughing at anyone in a 14 second stock car when you drive a truck is hillarious. (yes, I know trucks can be fast, no flaming needed)

lmao the dude that stated mid 14 seconds if they hook now wants to know why an army of people had to get all on his *** for bad stats. It's partly because a bunch of LS1Tech folks signed up on that forum and jumped on his *** and set him straight!

My truck IS NOT a mid 13. Its a high 13 if I pull it perfect. Low 14 usual. So for him to be even with me... he is a 14
besides, thats ricer racing anyways..
I run against LS1 stock Fbody V8s quite often in Denton and most are 9+ second cars in the eighth. 14+ does make sense to me. There are some running in the 6s but they're few and far between.
Its my understanding the ONLY ones that were even rated for HIGH 12s and lower 13s was the WS6 package.
yea those base models are dog slow..
Check it everything around here IS SLOW. There are 3 WS6 trans ams in my town. 1 is the 13.3. The other two old people who bought them to "look cool".

It was my impression that a ws6 was about a 30 hp difference between the reg. Also a CONVERTIBLE has a worse launch of the line unless I was lied to by people that have ran 10s in older carb cars.
most people that have carb'd engines, including ones that have ran 10s
know next to nothing about ls1 or ls based engines what so ever... most ask if we have double hump heads or a 3/4 race cam.. 
the WS6 package is nothing but a ram air hood, different spoiler and better suspension...
I am sure you'd kill him in a straight line race at a track. And we all know the reasons why...

hmmm 2 buddies i known had a 98 A4 trans am and a 98 A4 camaro Z28 and the best time at Norwalk for them both was 14.0 and 14.2 then the he said all of a sudden my TA got faster and did 13.8???? both cars just had a cat back(blowmaster) so i donno whats up with there cars...

For being an "LS1" truck site, seems like they should already know the saying. And I am still pretty new here, but I've heard it before. An LS1 is an LS1 is an LS1. But now they are talking about the 01-02 having the LS6 intake.... well the 98-00 had a bigger cam... so an LS1 is an LS1 is an LS1.

2002 ss camaro My ss for one..........12.92 with 4.10's,drag radial,lid,mass air, thats it.
Before all this the car went 13.28 totally stock.
The car has 8000 mile's on it now.
And is for sale 17500.00 canadian
Oh.....! just for ***** and giggles,I put a dry nos kit on it, at the end of the season........and sprayed a 50 shot.......12.58
The reason for only a 50 shot ,they said that with a 50 shot you don't have to do any tuneing.

and you could run up to a 150.. i **think** he learned something, but who knows?

Oh, and I ran a 14 in my LT1 bird...ONCE...spinning almost to half track b/c of shitty prep and Kuhmo Ecsta tires. And I still ran down the '00 Mustang GT with a supercharger and camera set up on a tripod inside ready to post his "kill" online.
The funniest part was the guy asking what an M6 is.

99 trans am a4 stock I live in Celina, Ohio and i have raced my 99 stock trans am a4 non ramair in muncie, indiana and raced atleast 15 times. I have never ran anything higher than 13.9 spinning down the track. Amost everytime i ran a 13.7 at 103 in the quarter. I have over 150,000 miles on it and it still runs the same as the day i bought it. I know its not fast but damn mid 14s that is just stupid. Just my input. thanks, ramair1999@hotmail.com

If that main street was like the main street in my town, that car would have been smoking the tires all the way to 80. I guess i could see how he thinks it was a win. The other guy was probably spinning like crazy
