Indeed.. Ford basically dug through the truck parts bin back in the mid 80s and stuck those slushboxes into Mustangs. They weren't intended to be performance transmissions to begin with. Hell. that's where they got the E7 5.0 heads too.
I'd like a Tangerine '96 if one popped up cheap some day. PI swap, exhaust, gears, spray, done. You could have a quick '96-68 for little of nothing.

thanks guys for the info. i never had any doubts about loosing against him. i def think it will be around 3-5 cars. were probly go 30-100. ill def get a video of it.

I actually looked at that sometime last week. I think it was on Corral? It's tittays, but I wouldn't want that particular car as a drop top. Orange tittays... Like an Oompa Loompa, I reckon.

damn i knew stangs sucked ***** but i didnt realize they sucked that bad. less than
200 whp, damn. but i do know that when i had my 2002 v6 altima with intake and exhaust, i ran dead even with my bro in laws 03 gt vert with exhaust intake gears and tune, we both ran low 14's at the strip. he said he had a shitty tune but i think his car was just a pig. well that was till he novi'd it, with cams then he ran 12.20's.

If it would take one day and very little work to return it to original, it's not "molesting." If they had rolled the fenders, changed the paint, and cut into the subframe it might be considering "molesting."

I've been a lazy bum. I installed the rear ones along with some 3.73s, but haven't gotten around to the front. Namely because I've been having bad luck with breaking rusty bolts and don't want to break the ones on the struts. I'm probably going to say to hell with it and slap 'em on this weekend.
