Default bolt on z/28 vs 308 foxbody????

my friend has a police interceptor foxbody mustang (not sure on yr early 90s) Its a 308 i believe with pp gt40p heads a trick flow stage 1 cam .221/.225 500in/510ex, maf, long tubes, 3in x pipe. 70mm tb, bigger injector, 5 speed, 3.73s and 555r. 3000lbs full tank him in it. How do you think ill do against it with my ETs on the car my mods are in sig.

Well if you are on street tires better for you likely from a roll as he has nittos and gears and should be able to leave pretty hard. You have stock 3.42 still it looks like.
Powerwise would think you should be around 380 to 400rwhp range with good tune.
Think he would be more like 300 to low 300s range rwhp. But he is 400 or 500 pounds lighter so that would even things out some. I think you would get him by a few lengths from a dig if you get nittos or drag radials on there. On street tires bet you would be closer to even. On roll race would think you would be able to pull him a bit.

You need some good heads to really kick his butt I would say and could still add an underdrive and cutout for couple other cheap mods.
So no dyno on your car yet?

The car has been tuned with efi live, were gonna dig race, and ill be on a set of mickey et street drag radials so i won't have any traction problems.
