^^^ I think its more the fact that its a kid who obviously needs a clue, and a high dollar build like that car **** is going to break faster. I'm not laughing cause it does suck when your car breaks, but from what they've said this kid needs a hard slap with the reality stick.

Indeed. Getting the first cobra is one thing....he fucked it up, so they say "ok, lets get you one with 2x the power...you can handle it, right?". WTF. Sounds like this girl from my HS. Had a 3000gt, totaled it, so her parents got her a upgraded turbo EVO.
hahahahaha stupid parents if you ask me, why in the F*CK would you buy your kid the fastest damn car imaginable when he already wrecked two cars that arent half as fast!

Yeah after reading the posts the only thing that really pop's into mind is.
1.) reaching 100 in a second is not gonna happen... Thats what top fuel dragsters do, not cobra's
2.) 1200 HP is VERY legit... got questions give HPP racing a call in dallas... Talk to manny he's got a 1200 hp (to the rear wheels) on his 03 sonic blue cobra. Funny thing is.... its a daily driver and probably gets better gas mileage then 9/10's of the cammed ls1's out there. When i first saw it it blew my mind how tame those things can be with **** tons of horse power. Not trying to say this kid isnt a tool bag for boasting. But, he's got a pretty sick car. And, i wouldnt doubt that he doesnt truly understands what he does have in his garage.

what i was wondering while reading this whole thread is, is it really this 16 yr olds car, i don't know the kid but what pops into my mind first is that the father bought it for himself, and the kid just takes it out and brags on it. i sure as hell wouldn't be buying my kid a 2nd or 3rd nice car , that's for damn sure.
