Very nice man.....12.2 is def. good enough to have a 2 length lead at the end against a stocker....even a light bolt on/tune, I'd think you'd still edge him out at the end.

Unit is right, no stock Cobra is running 12.2. There are a few guys that claim 12.4 bone stock on svtp, but that's probably more rare than a bone stock f-body cracking the 12's.
The decent drivers are going to cut a ~12.8, so yeah, a full bolt-on LS1 car can do it. Full bolt-ons, gears, tune, and some small suspension work really would have no problem walking one.

With the 2.9 on our cars it would probably be a pretty good race. I would say he would probably edge you out.
Oh BTW I sold my Trans am and bought an 03. Sorry for the confusion.

It would be a close race.....still some variables though...how good the tune is, how good the driver is, is that the only mods he has? Are you sure it's a 2.9? and......what race? dig or ***..i mean roll?

i think it will be close but i think i will pull it off he has only had the car for 2 months so he is not that good of a driver yet. but it will be from a dig and i just asked him if he had more mods and he has 373 gears, 2.9 pulley and flowmaster's. Dont know how good his tune is i know mine is great cause i did it. lol

How's it hanging man? I'm just chilling. I spend all my time at moddedmustangs, but I come over here everyonce in awhile to check out some of the good looking f-bodies. This site has gotten so big that it is inevitably getting more and more dumbass users and I just got tired of it, so I had to take a brake.
