Default Engine rebuild gains?

Hi i plan on rebuild my 2000 z28 A4 with the following.
228r cam 114 lsa
bbk ssi intake
pacesetter shorties
ORY
LS6 heads(not ported)
3200 stall

with a good tune what kind of number could i expect at the wheels? any opinions appreciated,i know i would get better numbers with long tubes but i live in california and do not want to have to pay someone off every other year.
Thanks!

Those shorties throw me off here. Plus I've heard that the stock headers flow as good as most shorties, IDK 100% thou. Complete wild guess, i would say 370-390whp.

Get rid of the shorties and get long-tubes. Epicially with the the cam, If you go with shorties expect leave around 15 HP on the board. I would guess about 370 RWhp with the shorties and probably 385ish with LT's.

umm.... even with shorties you are going to fail, mainly because the ORY... also you would likely fail with a 228 cam with or with out cats.

yeah, im with the consensus, why bother getting shorties if you are going to fail with that cam. prety much the only cam you wouldnt fail with is an LS6 cam, or something like it, but you get the point. only small cams.

yeah california sucks... the 228 i plan on getting is a newtech cam that they made to pass smog in ca,its a 115 lsa i believe and i guess id be better off leaving the stock manifolds w/ a ory and just put the catted y on when smog time comes,i dont mind a 15hp loss if it'll save me 600$ and 300 every other year to pay someone off

If Nick says you can pass with that cam... OK??? but like the others said... if you're going to mod... MOD IT!!!!! CA emissions do suck.... This all coming from a Smog Tech.... Go figure... but there's really no point of shorties.... it's a waste of time and money.... You would fail IMMEDIATELY with an ORY.... so if that's the case just get LT's and an ORY.... might as well.... the first mod should be LT's.... but with all of that you'd put down around 370 ish....???

it will but the ORY alone will make you fail smog, so go all out with the LTs or stick to shorties with the stock y.
