A fast car to some is 13 seconds, while a slow car to others is 9 seconds... All about what you are used to and can handle.

Lots of good comments in this thread, but this one about sums it up. some people can't handle these cars from the factory, much less with more power. but then again, some of us (most of us) get accustomed to the power we have and makes the car feel slow, thus feeding the drive to mod and go faster.

i had people get in my car when it was cam only.. and by cam only i mean STRICTLY cam only.. only other mods was exhaust and a lid... no heads intake etc etc etc... they would about **** their paints from the speed... and thats with 4 people in the car.. id say it would run with them in the car about 13.0@106..
my car as it sits now is on the brink of breaking 10s N/A... im not anywhere near satisfied with the power... does it get the job done? yea... but i need much much more power..

I can hear you all on the wanting more power. I went from my bolt on stocker at 300rwhp, to a hotcammed motor at 350rwhp, and now it feels slow to me. I'm scared that once I get the Nitrous Outlet plate on there that when I'm off the bottle I will crave the 500rwhp I'm shooting for on the bottle all the time.

I'm about 900RWHP and my car drives fine on the street. However if it rains I really don't like to take her out. Also if it's snowing I have trouble getting up the driveway on slicks so I don't do that either.
A nice dry day and a really sticky set of drag radials and I'm fine with the car. I mount the front license plate back on it also. Required in my state. Also my car is pretty quiet due to the turbos lowering the sound volume.

Thanks Lemons... Just let me hop on my bicycle and I'll be right over.. Cali to Tenn. should be a nice little cruise.
I been in alot of 12 second cars in my life time and some seemed pretty damn fast to me.. Porsche turbo was a rocket go cart and handled the best, Stock Z06 was brute power, the E55 AMG was evenly distributed power threw all gears. My SC400 running a 150 shot is extremely rude also thru the first three gears. All around 12 second cars though. Oh, and I also owned a old 1995 300zx twin turbo for a few months that had a few mods, I still remember when those two turbo's kicked it really pulled hard.. However it was gutless off the line as I remember..
11's would probably definetely bring a big smile to my face..10's might make me **** my pants... Damn!!! One day hopefully..

you would like 11s for a month or so.. then want 10s.. after about another 2 months or so.. you want bottom 10s... then a motor swap and 9s...

Too me too much power is when the car really doesn't make a fun street ride and more of a challenge to drive.
As far as speed wise, I got to the point where 115MPH traps feel slow and 130traps feel good but not **** your pants fast. Thats why I'm selling my car, I have a feeling it will never stop and next thing I know 150 traps won't be fast enough.

My buddy has a 02' bird and it puts down (rwhp) 800 and some change to the floor. Procharged tho. Imo when nobody can beat you that's when you have to much rwhp.

thats when you have just enough... after that, add about 150 more for some cushion...
