96 gt pi swap vs my 98 z28 his: 96 gt stick, stock bottom end. 2v long tubes, bbk hpipe, dumped thrushes, pi heads, light porting, pi cams, generic swap tune, pi intake, tb and plenum, cone filter, 3:73s. king cobra clutch, pro 5.0 shifter, no ac, maroso 5 ways in back and lakewood uc and lcas. might be on drls yes he can drive i think his best was a 13.5 dont know mph he claims its a 12s car
Mine: 98 z28 m6, long tubes, 3in no cats, 4 corner QA1 11 way, ported stock tb, lid, slp maf, no ac, tubular uc and lcas, spec stage 2 clutch, b&m ripper shifter, 3:42s, gmpp hotcam im not new to racing but only had the car a week. previous owner ran 13.3 dont know mph(before tb porting and taking out ac) i will be on street tires... you think ill take him or will it be close? he also has spray but unless i get more bolt ons i wont let him use it.

Personally....I think it'll be a close race, due to the time of ownership.
BTW - what do you mean by 'swap tune'?
If both cars were driven to their potential, I'd def. give the nod to the fbod.

it wasnt dyno tuned, it has an sct xcal with a generic tune from a guy that just does fords... i will be going to the track wed. to get some runs in and try to learn the car.

not too bad, besides a untuned hotcam runs pig rich and i only gained a tenth. my cars still faster all motor. but he beat me with a 125 shot (big supprise). if i had drls and a tune i would prolly be right around where he is runnin with spray.
