Now, I do know some about Hondas, and their capability, but not with some of the turbo set ups. So someone who has some knowledge want to enlighten me on what my friends car might be capable of once its done? B18c1 stock bottom end, GT35r turbo, all supporting mods, and (most likely) Hondata tuned. Pump gas, so maybe 12 lbs. Not sure exactly what trim turbo, so its a bit vague.

I spent several years working with Drag Honda's. Some of our cars broke into the 8's. Never underestimate a well built honda. Especially one with traction. Also, his car likely weighs nothing.
92-95 civic coupe: 2500lbs
96-00 civic coupe: 2600lbs
94-01 Integra: almost 2700lbs
Just FYI.

Indeed, between 300 and 350 depending on the quality of installation of his parts and the quality of his tune. I've been juggling the idea of building up a boosted Honda myself just because of the ease of the build and the possibilities.

His is a eg 4 door. Has door panels, but everything under the panels is ripped out. Trunk has nothing it as well. And I know the potential of Hondas..there is a mid 9's at 160 up in Tucson, and I know some guys that build pretty decent street Hondas. I was just wondering about this set up. How laggy could it be, obviously dependent on the A/R.
We raced a Lingenfelter TT corvette with the civic hatch. It literally seemed to jump to the 1/8 mile mark whereas we spun the slicks hard. as soon as traction came, the 645 hp honda DESTROYED the 800 hp vette. I wish it wasn't so.

That turbo is .50 trim I believe. I would think it would be hard to spool a turbo with that big of an AR housing pushing out only limited exhuast. If its still stock 1.8 liters a GSR motor is only capable of putting out so much. A dig race would be your best bet because he is gonna be spinning for sometime if he launches and build half the power it should be capable of, unless he has every suspension part known to man and adjusted properly. The last Honda motor we put together was a B16A1 with a 20G, full support mods and cams in a EK hatch and it would spin from bad from a 30 roll.

well i have no personal experience with what B series but i had a fully built d16z6 del sol, and stock, the D series could barely take over 200whp before bending rods, i have heard the B series is stronger but you stated stock bottom end, he may be pushing 300 whp but i personally don't see more than that unless he has a miracle tune. but my sol at 15psi from a tiny 15g, making around 250whp, ate up alot of cars you wouldn't think it would.

Luckily, I am not stock...but I fear some of our brothers will fall to the hands of this honda. That is if some of these other F bodies even race. I'll laugh if we race, I win, then he ends up racing the sprayed 383 ls1 SS at another point in time. I know he wouldn't feel to great lol.

8psi My guess is 280whp or so. Its gonna be lagy as hell though with that 35r on there. He will probably see full boost around 6-6300 rpm. I have a 57 trim on my b16 engine and I see full boost around 5-5500 rpm or so.
