I would give the edge to the Cobra but not by much. I ran 12.6 @112 with my Cobra and from the vids I have seen from different Camaros I think I could run about the same (12.6 to 12.7) with a new Camaro. I also think that this fall when the weather gets better and more cars are out there and being run I think you will see alot more 12 second Camaros.

FWIW, there aren't as many 12 second 100% stock Cobra as everybody thinks.
Back when they were new most of them only ran low 13s. There were alot of 12 second cars but everybody makes it sound like they all ran 12s stock. That being said ,I'm sure there is alot of high 13 second Camaros out there to.

Cobra FTW. It's ironic that for the last 6 years most guys have called Cobras pigs due to the 3600lb weight and now we have a Camaro thats 300lbs heavier. Thats funny

Don't talk about the new Camaro's weight. It might get a complex.

Already had this argument with myself, I would die the next day, if not the same die when I bought the bike. I know I could start off with a 600 and work my way up to a liter bike eventually, but if I don't end up killing myself, the snow bird grandma who pulls out in front of me will.

All things being equal the lighter car will win.
