There is no official record for that.. everyone goes off quarter mile and stock internal.. Which allows intake swaps.

I assure you it would be way faster than that... Low 7s for a record pretty easily.

Yeah, I saw a guy go high 7's the other day. I wasn't serious... Just joking. If it was a race car I wouldn't doubt somebody could get in the 6's.

Neither did I until we started running an outlaw promod. That's basically all they run. Plus I've got two 1/8 mile tracks within 30 miles. I've got to drive 90 miles to get to a 1/4 mile track.

My point...

His race weight isn't really that low at all... Right on par for pulling a lot of stuff out, I'm going to assume he hasn't spent much if any money on weight reduction. If he has, he has a cage/9"/etc that added weight back in.

I'd rather drive the 90 miles for the quarter than ruin the car for the street setting it up for the eighth. No 5:88 gears for me thanks. If its a trailer car its okay I guess but I like drivers.

Nobody said anything about 5:88 gears lol I run 3.23 gears in my car and might only bump my gear to a 3.73 and a taller tire. Just because you run on the 1/8th doesnt mean anything about streetability
