Just wondering how my car would go against my friends 03 Cobra...mods upgraded pulley, full exhaust, and intake... My mods are in my sig... Plus a 100 shot of nitrous... Races will be from a dig..

 

are you an auto or a stick and do you have drag radials?

 

If your on a tire, I don't think it will be a problem.

you should have no problems at all whooping on pullied cobras


When they get whippled or equipped with a kenne bell youll need heads and cam to **** them up.


A nice 3600-4000 converter would do wonders for your car

 

I believe you will take him, just watch out because he could have a ported blower which could make another 50+ rwhp and you will never know. Or he could have a lower pulley that could add 4lb or 6lb of boost, which is good for more power also. Or he might have both.

 

Blower is not ported... and he said he would outrun me with his street tire..lol

 

Do you trap 118-123mph? If not, grab some lube cause you're gonna need it.

 

Sounds like a drivers race to me.You might edge him out.If you spray you got him.

Most of the F bodys are saying YES... and the cobra guys are saying NO... i guess will wait n see

From a dig I think you got em depending how long you go for.

 

if he is on street tires and you are on drag radials.. from a dig, you wont need spray..

from a roll.. thats a different story..

just go from a dig and spray.. as long as you hook it wont be much of a race..

The Cobra's(03/04)that I have seen trap about 112-115mph.Like I said if you spray you have him.If you dont...you better out drive him.Motortrend got a 13.0@111 out of the 2010 Camaro SS also

 

Im spraying for sure... cant just go all motor on a pullied cobra.. throwing on mickey thompsons ttoday... lets see if he wants to bring out the car.

I agree...but you got to take into account he is not stock either.If he can drive and weather permitting...he will run deep into the 12's and trap high.

 

Yeah I see what your saying. Still though a pullied/bolt-on Cobra on street tires is gonna have his hands full on the launch.
